Partner with us

Mothers are the door to shaping families. They’re the watchful nurturers, teachers, providers and protectors of their children. They’re wives, daughters, friends, church members, employees and community members.

Their role, however, is far from easy. They have a deep need for encouragement, community and support in their motherhood journey.

A local partnership

Mums At The Table is all about fostering relationships. If you are interested in facilitating conversation, supporting the group members and organising local face-to-face meet-ups, we would love to partner with you.

Each group works differently depending on the interests and capacity of the group moderator (you). But the goal is the same: To make friends and develop relationships with mums through regular events, such as playgroups, walking groups, mothers’ groups or even just café and playground catch-ups.

Mums At The Table exists to empower mothers and this is only possible in partnership with you, the local church or school. As Mums At The Table is produced by Adventist Media, owned by the Seventh-day Adventist Church, we only partner with Seventh-day Adventist churches and schools for insurance and child safety purposes.

Types of events

These are some of the events are current groups have organised. You will see they range from more casual meet-ups at restaurants to structured ones like weekly playgroups. There is no hard-and-fast rule with the types of events moderators have to organise. They simply need to be regular and work for you (the moderator).

How we support moderators

We are all too aware that our Mums At The Table moderators are everyday, busy mums volunteering their time because they have a passion to support other mums. As such, we want to make sure that they feel supported and have as much help as possible.

By joining the Mums At The Table family, you can feel confident that we’ll be with you every step of the way. This includes:

Training

Have all your questions answered during our onboarding process. Access an online manual to find answers to common tricky situations.

Help is never far away

You’ll have access to our moderators’ Facebook group which means someone will be on hand to answer your questions.

Regular online catch-ups

Be inspired by what other moderators are doing during our online Zoom catch-ups. We meet once every two months to chat about our wins, losses and challenges.

Promo kit

When you sign up to be a moderator, we’ll send you a kit with various Mums At The Table-branded items to make it easier for you to organise a meet-up.
