Our homemade vegan healthy sticky date pudding recipe is the perfect winter dessert.
Ingredients
- 1.5 cups self-raising wholemeal flour
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 100 g pitted dates (chopped)
- 3/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
Sauce
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 tbsp non-dairy butter
- 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
Method
- Mix all dry ingredients together.
- Add almond milk until dough like consistency.
- Place in lightly oiled dish.
- Prepare sauce by combining all ingredients and stirring until smooth.
- Add sauce to dish.
- Cook for 25 minutes in the oven. Serve with coconut cream
