How to make the best hot chocolate that’s safe for kids and full of deliciousness! β˜•οΈπŸ˜

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder (sifted )
  • 1 tbsp carob powder
  • 2Β½ cups soy milk
  • Β½ tsp cinnamon
  • Β½ tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 2 tbsp honey

Method

  1. Add Β½ cup soy milk to a medium saucepan and bring to a simmer over medium heat.
  2. Add the carob powder, cocoa powder, cinnamon, cayenne pepper and honey. Stir until melted through.
  3. Add the remaining soy milk and cook over medium heat until it begins to bubble.
  4. Adjust flavours to taste.
  5. Serve between two mugs and top with whipped coconut cream and chocolate powder.
