The cruise of all cruises for the entire family sets sail next year from Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Auckland.

After a tumultuous couple of years, cruising is back and bringing with it a touch of magic from October 2023. And if you’re not a fan of a certain famous mouse, remember Disney also owns Marvel, Pixar and Star Wars.

Disney’s “Magic at Sea” Australia cruises range from two to six days on board the Disney Wonder, with 11 decks overflowing with restaurants, pools, recreation and more.

Since it is a Disney cruise, guests can expect to encounter Disney favourites like Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Moana and Cinderella. Then of course, there are the Star Wars characters, including Chewbacca and Rey, much-loved Pixar stars like Woody and Jessie from Toy Story, as well as Marvel heroes such as Spider-Man, Captain Marvel, Thor and more.

Hand over the smallest Disney fans in your family to the Disney Oceaneer Club. Staff will take them on a Frozen-themed adventure, play in a multi-level replica of Andy’s room from Toy Story or learn to save the world at the Marvel Super Hero Academy. (Don’t worry, tweens and teens are also catered for with their very own hang-out spots, complete with plenty of computers, video games and other activities.)

And if that’s not enough fun, there is a water playground and three other themed pools to choose from. Then there are the live Broadway-style musicals—we’re pretty sure the Frozen one will be a favourite—deck parties and Disney movies galore.

If you can sneak away from the kids—which shouldn’t be too hard—there’s even an adults-only Quiet Cove pool, and a spa and salon on board.

There are even three different restaurants which guests rotate through every day, experiencing a different theme and cuisine.
